I wonder if we really want to do any lean work. What motivates companies to invest more and more in making product, processes and services more efficient ?
It is an ego trip or a market driven requirement.?
We might want to reflect on the millions invested in to lean manufacture, only to find that the market place has moved .
It is then a major battle, I would even go as far to say, a spiral of death to the bitter end, on a cost based sale.
